Exelente Ubicación, en el corazon de Old Town, a pasos (literalmete) de restaurantes, Pubs y la Avenida Principal de Dubrovnik. Si desean pasar unos pocos dias para recorrer la Fantastica y Bella ciudad es una muy buena opcion. Ojo, es un Guest House y deber coordinar tu llegada para que te espere el personal, el cual es muy atento y amable.
Sin duda si vuelvo a Dubrovnik, me quedare aqui y lo recomendare

De paso por Dubrovnik

Our room was very clean, had everything we needed. The location could not be better, you are in the middle of Old Town overlooking the main street. In short, the perfect place to stay for a very good price. We would definitaly recommend staying here.

Could not imagine a better place to stay when visiting Dubrovnik

Location was perfect that you can walk anywhere you want. However building of guest house is too noisy that you may not fall sleep, like us. When people go up or down from the ladders it sounds like the building is breaking down. 

Nice but noisy

Nice room,best location. Easy to find. Breakfast places near by.  Big bed for two. Shower,air conditioning. Window towards main street. Irish pub almost front of the door. Small shop also close which was expencive. 

Lovely old town

Lumin Guest House couldn't be more central as it's right on Stradun, the main street. A small window looks out onto the street - rooms higher up seem to have larger windows. I was there over New Year and it was warm and cosy. Furnishings very pleasant and the bed comfortable. Everything worked well including heating, shower, WiFi, kettle to make hot drinks, and a small fridge. The 'soundproof' window keeps most normal street noise out. There were outdoor concerts strongly amplified while I stayed but I was either outside to see them or didn't mind hearing them! After 11 pm most nights except NYE it was quiet. The owner was there when I arrived, with a friendly welcome but guests might need to ring for check in. The stairs are modern but steep and would be difficult for anyone who might struggle. Above all Dubrovnik is a fabulous city and Lumin couldn't be more convenient for exploring it.

Good accommodation in a brilliant city!

In Dubrovnik stay in the Old City or within easy walking distance and GH Lumin is perfectly positioned from this perspective. Take a room with a street view and don't worry about the noise, double glazing takes care of that. 
Our room (#1) was perfect: clean, neat and thankfully on the first floor ... you'll find out why! 
The WiFi is adequate for communications. The English TV programs are not worth the effort of reaching for the remote but I would have liked one news channel.
Maybe my view on &quot;Guest House&quot; is incorrect but be warned that there is nothing other than your room on offer. No reception, no breakfast option and no servicing of the room (we stayed 4 nights, when do you get offered clean towels?)
Also be aware that while you may be provided with a couple of plates there is only a kettle in the room, no microwave etc. Tea and coffee are not provided so collect what you need on the way as convenience stores are not a feature of the Old City.
Dubrovnik is a great destination for a 3 night visit, enjoy!


Neat, clean and great location ... but

PLEASE FAMILIARIZE YOURSELF WITH THE HOUSE RULES

1. Close the windows when you are going out of the apartment.
2. Extinguish all electricity consumers when you are going out of the apartment (air conditioning, heating, TV, light...)
3. Produce no noise after midnight (12 AM)
4. Take care and keep inventory of the apartment, especially floor and furniture
5. Any damage caused by negligence will have to be compensated
